Intimate Elopement in Acadia national park

There wasn’t a single drop of stress in the air — even when rain was in the forecast. Jeff and Maggie got ready together, shared oysters and their favorite local beer, and headed into the day with laughter and ease. That carefree, joy-filled energy carried through the entire evening in Acadia.

Acadia National Park in September was the dreamiest background for jeff and maggie's elopement.

Jeff and Maggie’s story started on Facebook over their shared love of motorcycles. Their first date at a restaurant was, according to Jeff, “terrible” — but he convinced Maggie to give him a second chance. This time they went hiking, something that felt more authentic to them both, and from there they were inseparable. Jeff sold his house, moved closer, and together they built a life rooted in adventure, laughter, and love. Jeff is the grounded, practical one, while Maggie is the sparkly free spirit — both deeply caring for humanity, their pups, and the natural world.

Jeff & Maggie

From getting ready together in a downtown Bar Harbor Airbnb to exchanging vows overlooking Acadia’s cliffs, every detail reflected their adventurous, carefree personalities. They sipped local beer, shared oysters, and carried lanterns into the foggy evening light. What unfolded was a story full of connection, joy, and the dreamiest backdrop Acadia could offer.

What We Captured

Jeff & Maggie wanted an intimate September elopement in Acadia National Park that felt relaxed, personal, and true to them. Instead of a big, traditional wedding, they pictured a cozy day surrounded by their closest friends, filled with laughter, good food, and the coastal beauty of Maine.
